Structural engineer

 

Owing to both dynamic development and realization of the new investments on Scandinavian markets we are looking for employee to the new opened office in Stavanger’s workplace
Structural engineer             

Work place: Norway            

 
        
A job description/duties:
 
  • Design of various load bearing equipment supports
  • Structural analyses using hand and computer calculations in accordance with national and international rules and regulations
  • Conceptual and detailed design of hull structures
  • Conceptual layout of hull structures
  • Establish design and functional requirements for hull structures
  • Coordination and interface towards topside structures
  • Participation in detailed engineering projects
  • Participate in front-end studies , EPCI-and maintenance &modification projects
  • Design of various load bearing structures , equipment supports etc. by use of PDMS 3D modeling
  • Extraction of structural drawings , material take off , preparation of fabrication information etc.
  • Preparation of analysis reports

Requirements:

  • Good theoretical basis in static structural calculations
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, written and oral
  • Ability to work independently as well as in teams
  • Preferably BSc/MSc or similar in structural or mechanical engineering
  • Good knowledge of relevant rules & regulations
  • Educations: University degree (B.Sc, M.S.c)
  • At least 2 years of work experience
